I enjoy helping people define/refine their vision, goals, and strategies; learn about themselves through expanding awareness; and, take gentle steps out of their comfort zone to the edge of risk to engage passion and momentum. As a catalyst for positive change, my work is a blend of the visionary and the practical.

Career Counseling: Throughout my life I recognized a natural ability to listen to people's core desires and dreams and generate possibilities to help them create fuller, more satisfying careers and lives. My clients consistently say that I bring resourcefulness, a belief in people's strengths and their ability to change and be resilient, and new and refreshing perspectives to the career challenges and situations that they face. I have experience working with people in diverse industries, occupations, roles, and functions. Recent clients include employed and unemployed executives in pharmaceutical firms, managers in food/catering operations, social workers, nurses, editors, banking/investment professionals, graphic designers, artists, and business owners. I use a blend of traditional assessment tools and creative approaches to my career counseling and coaching work. |
Color and Wardrobe Consulting: In 2006, I completed a comprehensive certification program as an Essential Colors™ consultant. Similar to career counseling, this work requires the ability to listen, explain concepts, and convey information in a supportive and motivating way.
Training and Instructional Design: Synthesis – one of my greatest talents! I love the instructional design process – making information engaging, accessible, and practical. My work focuses on integrating adult learning principles and learning styles to create an effective sequence of activities with an eye towards flow and pacing.
