Trainer/Instructional Designer

Essential Colors™ Color and Wardrobe Consultant

Trainer/Instructional Designer

I hold an M.S. in Human Resources and Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. In 2003, I completed an intensive Coaching Certificate program with Linkage, Inc. I am trained and well-versed in a variety of leadership, communication, career, and skills assessment tools, bringing more than 20 years of experience in management and individual contributor roles in nonprofits, corporations, and academia to my work.

My work is strongly founded upon adult learning principles, incorporating interactive activities that help participants directly apply information to their current challenges and situations. I am most recognized for my facilitative, creative, and organized style and for creating stimulating training environments. My experience includes substantial work with diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic groups. Recently, I was praised for my ability to communicate information to participants with limited English-speaking skills enrolled in a train-the-trainer program, and was recognized for my flexibility and adaptability in meeting the emerging needs of a senior-level team in a workshop on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
